Default [Help] [VPN] Connecting iPhone to Hamachi

I just installed HamachiX on my Mac and configured a new network on it. The VPN Server IP assigned to me by Hamachi is: 5.30.242.244 and I created a network named jsn with password as *****. Now I want to setup VPN on the iPhone and connect to Hamachi.
First of all, its L2TP, PPTP or IPSec ?

And in server, I enter my Hamachi IP, Network name in Account field, network password in password, and what do I type in Secret.. ?

Hamachi has its own protocol so unless they release there own software you won't connect to it with a iphone.

But, if it's jailbreakt i could afp the hamachi files and tunetap drivers on the iPhone 3G and could run, like in OS X the installation in the terminal (which is provided by Cydia).

    Or cant I?

I thought the OS on the phone is very similar to the OS X on the Macs?
Has anyone tried this? Or has anyone an explanation for me, n00b I am, why this will not work?

    Greets&Thanks from Vienna,
    yours dummpferti

i tired doing this but hamachi won't install beccause iphone uses ARM architecture cpu

    iPhone:~/hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-osx root# ./install

    Copying hamachi into /usr/bin ..
    Creating hamachi-init symlink ..
    Copying tuncfg into /usr/sbin ..

Hamachi is installed. See README for what to do next.

    iPhone:~/hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-osx root# tuncfg
-sh: /usr/sbin/tuncfg: Bad CPU type in executable
    iPhone:~/hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-osx root# uname -a

You know, there is an ARM(ed) version of hamachi out there. Working just fine on Nokia N900...BUT it's a linux version so I don't know if it's possible to run on iOS

linux binaries will not run on iOS by default.. It is definitely possible to have some kind of runtime translator that will allow a linux binary to run. This is how frash (flash on the iPhone) works, dynamically translating the android flash plugin to work with the iOS.

If you wanted to make this work, I would look at the frash project and see if you can utilise the parts that translate ELF to MACH-O binary formats as a starting point.
