Go around CopyTrans Contacts beta limitation to backup iPhone contacts unlimitedly
In my aim to avoid itunes when it comes to managing my iPhone contacts on my computer, I have recently discoverd a small computer app called copytrans Contacts which helped me export and back up my iPhone contacts to my computer directly without using itunes, the iCloud, or my email account.
The app is also useful when editing i phone contacts straight from the computer or creating iphone contact groups (a feature natively not available on the iphone itself).
However, the free version of the program is limited to 25 actions, except it you decide to share via Twitter, facebook, etc. Nevertheless, each contact transferred (or edited) will cound as a single action taken away from the count. I found a quick way to disable the program actions counter and, thus, allow the unlimited usage of the tool as if it were purchased.
First, get the program from the following link and start it (there is no installation file so you just need to double-click on the program *.exe file.
Once started, the program will show your iphone contacts (upon iPhone connect) and it will also display the action limitation.
From the main program window go to ‘More’ > ‘Settings’ and then click on the ‘Advanced settings’ button.
In the newly-opened ‘Advanced settings’ window type the following in the Search box:
and change the value of
from 25 to whatever number you wish - say 750.
Now exit the advanced program settings and restart the Copytrans contacts program. You will see that the ‘Actions left’ indicator has reset its count to the value you input from the advanced option.
You can reset the counter as many times as you want. N-joy!
Btw. if you want to view some user-guides, there are some on their YT channel
