I've just found a home made spanish dictionary, where are dictionarys stored on 1.1.1??

Don't know either. I'd like to get unlimited EDGE for sure. But an official Spanish Iphone wouldn't help me either, as I need to be able to use SIM cards from other countires as well …

that dictionary on the touch just because they're not selling the iphone here... but hey, that's why they think different.

Probably they just thought you don't need to write that much on the touch as there's no mail, no notes, no sms and not even an official way to add events to the calendar…

spanish transaltions don't look either perfect, maybe they're a little mexican..

But I guess old versions won't be compatible!?

if I rename for instance French.lproj to English.lproj and I put those in 1.02 iphone, do you think it would work or you really need 1.1.1 ?

I have no idea how it was done in 1.0.2. If English.lproj exists in 1.0.2 you could try with some applications. As long as you safe English.lproj, you don't really take much risk. Probably there will some translations be missing.

I tried to rename the spanish dictionary to the new english uk ones but with no luck. Don't get with they don't work, it seems to still predict some english words...

What about the buttons, like the wifi one; since 1.1.1 I selected spanish and of them now show I or O , instead of ON or OFF . its the same on the touch?

I guess you have to name the spanish dictionary somewhat spanish, sp_SP or somewhat, no idea how exactly. Because when you choose spanish as language, the device won't use the english dicts, I guess.

I'm editing the phone and mail stings to translate them into spanish, but there're loads of things that doesn't appear like the contacts app, on its app, english folder I don't find any file I can edit.

Also things like "yesterday" I don't find how to change them, where?

It depends - The one shown in Calendar App for example is right in the Calendar App.
Don't remeber were the Contacts were, probably in the MobilePhoneApp? If not, they should aready be translated anway?
