Cant connect to you tube after independence and 1.1.1

I recently upgraded to 1.1.1 using independence so i could jail break it and use apptapp but for some reason my you tube will not connect over edge or wifi. I thought independence was supposed to be able to activate youtube during the activation. Right now i am using AT&T with independence 1.1.1. Any help would be appreciated.

i had the same, i guess apptapp caused some prblems.

search for "the three files" on the forum, replace them, create actvation_records folder (empty) and empty pairing_records folder as well. reboot, thats it.

you might find the three files in the "no service solution" thread. cant exactly remember, use the search engine.

thats the thread i was meaning. but otherwise stated in the first post this solution didnt work for me. but you will find my answer there which explains what worked instead.
