I'm running 1.1.3 and just upgrade to 7.6.2.9. on win XP pro sp2

Before I kept having issues with paging file system and the phone not syncing.

Since I updated, I'm no longer having the page file system problem, but the phone 'loses' connectivity with iTunes.

As it syncs iTunes will be uploading files and photos then all of a sudden, the phone disappears and the phone remains in a status of 'Sync in progress'

Not sure if anyone's ever experienced something like this, but I would love to be able to sync my phone again

Any suggestions? Also where can I download my 'backup' so that I can perhaps try another PC?
I haven't found much about syncing between 2 different computers, without the hassle of wiping the phone's music/video/photo library.

your title is timed out, please read my signature before creating a new thread. Have you tried restoring or a difrrent cable?

I'm having this problem too, what works is if I switch my phone on and off (rebooting)

Another thing you could try is to reset sync history under iTunes preferences.

This Christmas I got a new Razor Lycosa Gaming Keyboard, and it has a USB 2.0 port/hub on it. So I figured I would use that for my iPod sync cable connection, and initially this worked just fine. Now just this past week I started to get this "device timed out" msg and my iPod would stop the sync very early on in the process. Rebooting the iPod and my system had no effect, but then it dawned on me that I'm also using my new keyboard thru a USB KVM switch. So I plugged my iPod directly to my system's USB ports and now syncing is working again. I'm hoping this is a permanent fix and that my iPod isn't starting to die. Anyways, this is what corrected the issue for myself.
