    Default [Advice] iPhone Backup location ?

    Hi,

    I have byb mistake configured my Iphne as a new device, but i need my old data where i can find them.


    Note i am using MAC

    umm not sure, ill look into it, but even if you find the backup data, i dont think there is anyway you could access it besides restoring and configuring with that backup.

    Get Erica Sadun's mdhelper here
    http://ericasadun.com/ftp/Macintosh/mdhelper

    copy it to your desktop, Start Terminal on the Mac the type (once)

    cd Desktop/
    chmod 755 mdhelper

    Then type
    ./mdhelper -C *.*

    This will extract all data from the last Backup in a new folder on your desktop. hopefully you'll find the data you are looking for there.

    Just screwed up my Contacts and Calendar while trying to setup MobileMe.
