Hello Fellas...

I´m on 2.0.1 FW (Used Pwnage 2.0.2 and setup a new phone btw)

And the iTunes backup take a "LONG TIME - FOREVER NEVER END" to do it like 2.0FW
(I have 4Gb of songs and TONS of app from ItunesStore and Cydia)

Anyone experienced it ?

Let backup one time, then remember the date, next time u sync with itune ( itune will backup ur phone automaticly). Just click on the X. Where the progress display, then it will install or remove like the old day.

Yeah...i doing that..
But i´m not satisfied with this method...

Why to do a Backup ? I have all the app/music/ringtones/photos/contacts in my HD.
I think what the important thing to backup is low data... not the entire 8Gb !

If i copy the entire Iphone to my HD via SSH take LESS time than Itunes Backup..

Lol... you came here to help...and i´m thankfull for that.
But your post not help anyone...

Yeah... You can EDIT THE ITUNES PREFERENCE on a MAC ONLY (OS X)
and disable the backup. But there´s no method for iTunes on a PC !

I knew that.... i´m only asking in that topic if the problem persists (2.0 to 2.0.1)
And now i found that persits..

Btw thnx for trying help...
It´s a BUG from Apple... of course is a bug...
Trying do copy your entire iPhone to PC via SSH and it will spend 2 times more faster than make a backup
(i´m on a joke here...dont try to BACKUP your data by this means)
