[1.1.4][iTunes] v7.7 > "unable to load provider data from Sync Services" error
Hi!
I have just installed iTunes 7.7, and when I tried to sync my iPhone, I got the message "iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try later".
Does anyone know what's it about?
During the upgrade to 7.7 from 7.6.2 my iphone was connected. I thought that was the problem, so I reinstalled iTunes using the repair option, but the same message pops again.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

here's how i did it
I had this same problem and this is what i did. i completely uninstalled itunes 7.7 and installed a previous version 7.6. when you do this it will say that it cant be done becausea file was updated with a newer version.
this is where it gets tricky , i always back up my itunes on a external hd so i have the files before i updated. you go into your itunes folder and you'll see a file called library.itl, thats where all the information for your songs are in itunes. deleting this does not erase your actually music but does take everything out of itunes. you want to take your backed up version you have and replace it with the one in the folder. i would save a copy of it just incase. once thats done just start it up and it should be reverted. remember this file is based on what was saved before so you might have to add things back to itunes. now just upgrade like normal and there you go. thats how i did it i hope it helps.

I did erase everything (I mean really everything, iTunes, Quicktime, the stuff in appdata folder, common files, almost *anything* related to apple). Then reinstalled itunes. Worked for a while. And now it is acting up again. Didn't give out the same error, but itunes will lock up when i connect my iphone, and then the info screen flashes when I take it out of the dock.
Really annoying. I'm not sure if I'll try your procedure or simply revert to 7.6, as there is no unlock yet, and I've lost my library twice in a few days.
I guess I'll wait for an unlock and a stable version of itunes.
