Have you read the tutorial in the link i gave you ?

The tiff exploit to jailbreak has been corrected in 1.1.2 Firmware, so you'll have to downgrade to 1.1.1, jailbreak, install oktoprep, update back to 1.1.2 and finish with jailbreak 1.1.2

tutorial says, "What you can do now is downgrade your firmware 1.1.2 to a firmware 1.1.1, by doing that you can use every aspect of your iphone except all the functions that need a SIM card"

but if u already have an active AT&T sim card u can still use this method correct, but skip the activation steps?
