    Default [1.1.2 OTB][SOLVED] OpenSSH and WinSCP

    I installed OpenSSH on my iPhone and WinSCP on Windows XP Computer. I typed in root fo rthe username and alpine as the password, but what is the host name? Please help.

    your iphones ip number, ie. 192.168.1.46, or whatever it is

    Is everyones IP similar?

    No it is not, you must check it in Settings > WiFi then click the network's blue arrow your iPhone is connected to and check its IP.

    When it asks if I trust the host and want to continue adding host to cache I should say yes?

    Yes, this will create the RSA key and your computer/iPhone will trust each other next time

    Whenever I try to connect it says it timed out and doesnt connect...

    Edit: Nevermind it worked this time. For some reason in the past 20 minutes or so my iPhone's IP changed 3 times... only the last set of numbers though...
