Hi guys,

after successfully done the AppleTV now I wanted to anounce I got some nice things for you after I got back to test. We will go testing:

- SSE2/3 universal Speedstep 10.4.8 (inc 64 bit etc.)
- SSE2/3 universal 10.4.9

I got back to work on SSE2 since AppleTV and now you get these long awaited goodies. Be sure to stay on the IRC channel for testing later this day.

Ok, 10.4.9 SSE2 is done, I send a patch diff to netkas 10.4.9 responsity.
Kernel confirmed working. Happy day for SSE2

Speedstep 10.4.8 following.

Quick notes, for amd64 procs, sse2 kernel has 64-bit disabled, cause no intel sse2 64-bit cpus. So for intel 64-bit cpu - sse3 hpet/nohpet kernels

Yesterday I did the upgrade 10.4.8 to 10.4.9 keeping the kernel 8.8.1 from dec. 9th

What dio I have to do to get the SSe2 kernel for 10.4.9 to work. If start it I just get a bus error and the update exits.

any help appreciated

I am still doing some fixes to speedstep since some things now need improvemnt to make kernel useable for anyone, not SSE2 or SSE3 only.
