first, try too boot with -x flag

    and try this natit hhttp://rs.com/files/49620982/hd_natit.kext.tar.gz.html

    rs is a rapid share
need to get framebuffer working first (2d driver)

it's only for 0x9589 devid, if needed, try edit that devid in natit info.plist

I have added Natit and edited ATIRadeonX2000.kext with my card ID. When boot with -v -x parameters, Natit detects and sets the card ( http://img502.imageshack.us/my.php?image=atikj6.jpg) and then display goes blank.
I was able to connect using Remote Desktop and that is the screen image: http://img300.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fullmh3.jpg
When I remove all the new ATI files and just leave Natit: http://img149.imageshack.us/my.php?image=natitjl6.jpg

I also tried the Natit kext, but with the original Apple drivers (unedited). I pretty much got the same thing as aed0101 (link below is from him)

So, should the Apple drivers be edited for Natit or not?

looks like no display connected (see profiler)

    so..try back all hd2x00 kexts, but not a ATY_Hypoprion.kext

When ATINDRV.kext or just ATY_Hypoprion.kext is removed and ATIRadeonX2000.kext is modified for an ID match, system loads and then the screen goes black but not off as it was with ATINDRV.kext present, CPU fan starts to work intensively and the system can not be accessed via Remote Desktop. When I boot in safe boot mode system boots fine, but ATI kexts are not loaded. With ATINDRV.kext present safe boot is not possible. Another difference is that it looks like Natit sets only one display and not two as it was before.

Theoretically ATY_Hypoprion.kext should be suitable for both 2400 and 2600 series, as 2600Pro is also used in new iMacs. Anyway it is a common architecture. BTW I have corrected R610 to R630 in Natit.kext as 2600Pro is R630, but it does not make any effect.
On monday I will try to get ioreg and devicetree from new iMac if I´ll find any in town.
