Hardware good enough?
Dell Optiplex GX270
Mobo: FoxConn L S-36
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz Single-Core
HDD: WD Caviar 120 Gig
Video: Nvidia P117 512 Mb (also mobo has built in video)
Ram: 4x256Mb Nanya DDR MHz
Should I even try to hack it?
Also I have seen that some hacks (maybe all) use a mac or a hackintosh, of which i have none of.
Plz Help :(
Tnx for the info, but even though I used the onboard video card, I'm still getting the same issue.

Then there are a lot of numbers like 0x154187c8 (I think they're mem. banks) and then it says "Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0
Does this mean that the processor is incompatible? I mean I get to a screen with the Apple logo in the background with some info (listed above) in the foreground. So does this mean that I can run it if I get to this screen? Do I just need a bios configuration change?
I've never used Mac OS ever...I would like to try to use it but don't want to pay $$$$$.
The integrated graphics is "Intel Extreme Graphics 2"
But again I still GET visual, which makes me think that there is another fault.
distros are like russian roulletes, you need to try with a lot of them to find one that work for you.
ACPI 2.0 Enabler
Hard Drive AHCI
I think that my bios is too simple, because I can't find it anywhere, but I can find it on my own computer build.
if you that is not on bios you can't do anything, just download another distro
Any suggestions for a simple bios setup?
