Hi all i have trouble with the new kernel (8.9.1 form irc.osx86.hu #1049) here are the pics someone has a solution for this? Thanks in advance!

I can't boot with the latest kernel on my T40 as well.

Your P4 with 2.4 Ghz it`s sse2 only, or not? So the new kernel is at the moment only for cpu`s with sse3 supported.

Take a 8.9.1 version, but be sure to have the 8.9.1 system.kext as well. Otherwise you`ll not be able to open DMG`s.

Problem fixed i used the 8.9.1 Intel SS2 Only kernel from uphuck 1.3 dvd.

I know the latest 8.10.1 kernel is for SSE3 only, what I referred is 8.9.1 SSE3/SSE2 Universal kernel from IRC. Currently I am using 8.9.1 SSE2 kernel since the universal one won't boot.
