    Default Override Finder.app?

    Hi guys,
    I'm new to the forum...
I'm now writing an app in Cocoa and I'm planning to run it on an old PowerBook G4 Titanium DVI (2002) that I just reassembled. But I want this application to be the main one, so that it overrides Finder and, if possible, doesn't even show up the Mac OS X booting window...
Or, well, it can show the booting window and I can set an Auto-Login, but after that my application must show up (kind of a kiosk app) and all the others should run in the background. My app interacts with other apps like iTunes and iPhoto...

Have you got any useful idea?
    Thanks in advance

    Default

you can try to rename Finder.app in /System/Library/CoreServices to something else, and put your app at the same place and name it Finder.app
Just be careful when your run any Apple system update is it would overwrite your software
(don't know if it's safe BTW...)
