    Default OSX USB sound device

    I'm now using OSX 10.4.8 ,and everything does work,except the onboard soundcard. So i I want to buy a cheap USB sound device.

    Does any USB sound device work on a hackintosh or does it has to be supported by mac, with the drivers included?

    And what brand should i search for??

    I'm using a SBLive 24-bit USB and it works ok

    I think the SB X-Fi Xmod works aswell not sure tho, but I did see new firmware for it to work on OS X on the creative site.
