No LCD Display
Okay, first off, these are the basics of my computer:
Toshiba Satellite A135-S4427
Intel Core Duo Processor T2250 @ 1.73
1 GB RAM,
120 GB Hard Drive,
Vista Premium
Problem:
I put a disc with Jas 10.4.8 into my drive and booted it by pressing F12 when the computer started and choosing my CD/DVD rom. The apple logo would appear and then a light blue screen would take over. I found that by attaching an external CRT monitor to my laptop, I was able to continue the setup on the external monitor. (Just to make sure I was clear, my laptop screen was black. The external monitor had everything on it.)
After finishing the installation, I shut down my laptop and detached the external harddrive. I started up my laptop but am only able to get to the blue screen. It will only show my screen on an external monitor and not use my regular monitor. I would very much like to get it so my laptop can use it's own monitor instead of just an external.
Thanks for any help guys.
(Small sidenote: I'm not the brightest crayon, so please try to dumb things down a little. Just by going around here a little I can see that the majority of you people are ridiculously good with computers, or at least more so than myself. Please be kind to the stupid people

I had the same issue with my dell inspiron 2200.
Found a solution here: Paperclip/Staple Trick OSx86 in a Tablet PC
Hope this works for you.
