Mouse and Keyboard Won't work

I'm trying to install Uphuck 10.4.9 Universal v1.3 on my rig (in sig) but I can't my the mouse and keyboard to work I've tried three USB mouses and a USB keyboard a PS/2 Keyboard and a PS/2 Mouse.
And as far as I can tell my BIOS doesn't have to option to turn legacy USB on or off.
Any help would help!

Did you select PS/2 and USB support when installing?

If you are using PS/2 keyboard and mice you need to install proper ps/2 support. As real Apples don't have PS/2 devices you're better of using usb mice/keyboards.
For that to work you need your USB chipset to be supported, some PC USB hardware is not supported properly and you need to install a patched driver.
Most OSX installation disks come with options to install alternative USB.kexts
Trial and error basically!
