ok. here is all stuff i used
ATTENTION, not for noob, only for skilled.
for that you need usb stick.
It will be easier to set the VESA mode while still in read mode, before the kernel loads (in protected mode you have to rely on the availability of the protected mode entry point (which is optional for VBE3.0 compliant bioses)).
I'd like to look into efi development. Can someone point me to some documentation/examples regarding the creation of own efi modules?
Finally some real progress. Congratulations netkas. Looking forward to hearing news from you.
OMG! They've nearly done it! My congrats netkas and keep good work. Seems to me that apple will have soon to invent something other than tpm&efi protections. =)))
By the way will this stuff work if on a usb hdd, since I have no usb flash. If not I think I'll by one just for this testing =) Thanks.
as usb stick maybe used - ipod, any usb mp3 player which don't need additional drivers (usb-mass-storage)
We have many geniuses in this forum!
Thanks God about it!
OK, latest news
tried vesa kernel without callisto - got nice screenshots ( with callisto screenshots were distorted), but no normak video output
it means , the only thing between me and gui - kext which will setup vesa 2.0 1024x768 mode on loading.
