I have to use cpus=1 and remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext with any 10.4.9 kernel

With the 10.4.8 kernels, both cores, HPET and CPU power management are fine. I think I'll reinstall and stick with 10.4.8 now...

FP-IN9 SLI nForce 650i (C55 NB + MCP51 SB) & C2D E4300 at 333 FSB (3GHz) on stock voltage. Standard clock make no difference, 'tis not a stability problem

Seems odd it's 100% perfect with 10.4.8 kernels, yet bombs out with all the 10.4.9 kernels. I think Semthex should've stuck around and done the 10.4.9 patches himself!

I can't even use AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement on my i945-based hackintosh under 10.4.9 with most of the kernels (including the latest releases from IRC), though at least dual core works there (still, no fun not having power management on a Pentium D!) The only one that works fully is an old Netkas release.

yeah, I think the kernel released by netkas in the end of march is better than the last kernel (April). I feel performance runs faster not even when I bench it with some bench softwares and the most importance is I can keep AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext in my system!
==> So I will be sticked with that one until some better one release!
