I would recommend you watch his twitter comex (comex) on Twitter for updates.
Agree - backup your SHSH for 4.0.1 now. Even better if you got your 4.0 SHSH
No guarantee that this jailbreak will support both 4.0 and 4.0.1 depends if any bugs are encountered. The primary intention is to jailbreak 4.0 - as 4.0.1 offers no real benefits.
Also, when released this will be the last jailbreak comex has up his sleeve so for 4.1 the jailbreak will come from another source (possibly the iPhone dev team)Please read the stickies & search forum before posting!

Im new to all this iphone stuff but I have just bought myself a brand new iphone 3gs. I live in the UK and its come from the US and is locked to at&t. I cant even get to activate it because I need an original sim. Anyway of getting around this? Im not sure what ios is even on it. Thanmks guys

Please stop asking when the jailbreak will be released.
No release date has been or will be given. The dev-team / comex have said time and time again that they will release their respective jailbreaks when they are stable and functional and not a second sooner.
