does my 3GS jailbreaked with spirit need the afc2 add to work with ifunbox.
It seems that I cannot access the root partition form ifunbox, may I install the afc2 add ?

Yes, that will fix it. Like blackra1n the speed of spirit's jailbreak means that many (in my opinion) essential aspects like AFC2 support are missing and need to be added manually.
