Spirit help

I'm on a blackrain tethered JB on 3.1.2. I have my files backed up on saurik and am wondering which way I need to go. Do I restore to 3.1.3 and then use Spirit or what? I'm not sure on the process.

Do you rely on unlock? In other words if you restore to 3.1.3 can you plug the phone into iTunes and it will activate it for you?

Do you have 3.1.2 SHSH backed up on sauriks server?

if you rely on unlock,go ahead to 3.1.3 and spirit,and remenber to save you 3.1.3shsh
if not ,don't do that...

If you found the answer already, kudos to you otherwise, to my understanding, there's no need to restore to 3.1.3, even if you had an iPhone 3GS. Also, you never stated which iDevice it was... But put simply, restore back to a fresh 3.1.2 rerouting your itunes restore server inquiry to saurik instead of apple, than jailbreak your phone using Spirit. Supposedly Spirit requires a fresh iDevice in order for your iDevice to be untethered. Come back here if you need any more help and i'll try my best to elaborate on whatever it is that confuses you.

I jailbroke with Spirit on a non fresh iPhone so not necessary fresh.
