I bought a 3GS with the new bootrom that was on 4.0. Someone JB it at 3.1.3 and had the shsh keys cached on cydia.

I did a downgrade to 3.1.3, then used spirit to re-jailbreak the phone.

Now I cannot get the phone to work, when I put a SIM card in I will momentarily get 1 bar of service, then it will go to searching, then it will say no service.

The phone has vaild MAC addresses, IMEI, and ICCID numbers, so I don't suspect a HW issue.

I tried a DFU reflash with 3.1.3, no service still. Tried a jailbreak and unlock, still no service.

What should I do?

Have you loaded ultrasn0w 0.9.3 unlock?

Yes I have tried that, doesn't make a difference one way or the other.

Edit:

Oh NVM, problem solved! I forgot I swapped out the antenna on this phone and the signal was perfect. I'm not sure what happened to the board, but it coincidentally died after the JB.
