Hi there!

I jailbreaked my iPhone4 32GB yesterday and ´now i have big Troubles within the MAPS- Application:

It works fine until i go into the "behind"-menu to change to drop pin or change the view to satellite or maps. After going back to the front, the map is frozen.

i have to shut down maps via double Homebutton and closing ist in the "last used apps row" or via sbsettings.

After restarting maps everthing is fin until i touch the "behind"-menu button again.

Any ideas?

I just noticed that as well. I have a 32GB Iphone 4.

Maps will lock up on the pin/sat/map option when you select an option from that menu.

Plist problem or permissions problem?

I saw what you described but it looks like it's a delay of some sort.

when you switch the view from map to satellite /hybrid, the screen does not update so you click on that "behind menu" and that seems to update it.

However, after i clicked on list and from there everything seems to be working as it supposed to be

Same here...
seems like there are lots of little problems with this new jailbreak................

I've got the same problem as the thread starter.

I tried your method above but that didn't work for me.

The map remains frozen.

ok so it happen to me after i unlock my iphone 4 with ultrasnow. So i remove ultrasnow and rebooted and tried google map several time going to LIST and it is not freezing then i re-install ultrasnow and rebooted again and now its smooth like butter everything is working fine

Grab latest MobileSubstrate - it supposedly fixes this.

latest mobilesubstrate in cydia update fixes this map problem.
