Okay thanks. How do I get it to restore to 4.0.1? When I hit restore in itunes it says it's not eligible.. I thought it was just because I had an old itunes. But if not, now do I get 4 put on?
I bought it with OS 3.1.3 on there already. I dont mind losing sms or call history. I havent been able to use it in months anyway because its locked.

You need iTunes 9.2 or 9.2.1 to restore iOS 4.0.1
