Default iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 on 5.12.01 jailbroken with Spirit HANGS ON REBOOT

    Hi

now my story is that I jailbroke three 3GS's and three 3G's using spirit even unlocked 1 3gs and all 3gs with ultrasn0w everything went prity smooth and is workin A OK WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MY 3gs!

It's only jailbroken using Spirit obviously, works fine aswell. The only problmes which occurs is when I have to reboot or restart my iPhone after installing Somthing that needs rebooting the iPhone. Screen will go blank which is normal and then apple logo will appear, it will stay there for couple of minutes which seems too long, then a loading wheel sign appears and that's it, iPhone hangs. Then I have to do a soft reboot i.e power+home button till I see apple logo again. It will take ages but dose end up at lock screen eventually.

So I actually have to reboot my iPhone twice to get it back to normal mode. And I just remembers that it went into safe mode couple times aswell and i just opted to go back into normal mode.

I would really appreciate any suggestions and info on what cud be the reason?

    Thanking you in advance.

Your phone is working now right ?.
The reason it took ages is because after that soft reboot the iphone OS needs to perform checks. Mainly fsck the disk. Once the file system is checked/verified and correct error, then it will go into the normal mode.

Some people had to wait 10 minutes for fsck to be finished ..
    All that is normal

    Thanx for reply!

Glad to hear that it's normal after a soft reboot for iPhone to take a bit long, but wat abt my iPhone getting bricked the first time I do the reboot or turn it on after switching it off? Then works fine after I do a reboot again. This is always the case.
