Hi gys,

I have a big problem with my 3gs newbootrom jailbroken via jailbreakme but then I had to reintialized to factory settings. The problem is that it won't boot. :-( It stays with the Apple logo and the color bar in the top right corner of the phone and has the round thingy also.

I've tried to connect it to Itunes but it won't even get recognized by the PC (I've tried different PCs) so that i can upgrade it to 4.0.2

I've read this problem before but I can't seem to find the tread where yall talk about it.

If you did an erase all content and settings then the not booting is normal/expected behaviour

The not detected by iTunes/recognised by PC - can you force the iPhone into recovery or DFU mode?

I tried with the old method of holding the home and power buton but no luck and yes it was an erase all content.

Got it done... It works fine on 4.0.2

Pity you have lost your jailbreak - until 4.1 at least. Unlessyou backed up your 4.0.1 SHSH somewhere.

Erase all content and settings is an option that jailbreakers should pretty much avoid.
