I don't think you'll be able to target anyone else, since you dont know who they are (anonymous WHOIS etc, no form of contact etc) and you've gone for the easy target. This vacuum will be filled, and its sad that it won't be us, the people attempting to do this the most correct way, because of your decisions.

Jody - I think you've said your piece and have apologised for what you have done so leave it there, instead of replying to other comments posted just spend the time more productively and find other means in keeping your business afloat and stable

They did the very same thing last year and in April this year they moved to Devteam's PwnageTool.

My personal thought is that they will continue to use and sell it until a 2.0 Unlock comes out. If PwnageTool for 2.0 comes out first, they will rip it off again.

as for thair site..we could always mod thair site to say we are selling a tool witch was stolen and can be found for free from the creators

When I bought my iPhone, the first thing I did was to spend 10 minutes researching how to unlock it.

I quickly stumbled upon hackint0sh.org and proceeded to unlock my own phone, myself - which took me about 15 minutes, and cost £0.00.

I frequent these forums, as an iPhone customer, although I do no usually post unless there is something I can help with, or if I have a question of my own.

What I do know is this, I would never ever even dream about profiteering from someone elses work and efforts which they (the Dev Team) provide for free.

I've unlocked iPhones for many people, using the methods and software found on, and through this site, and I have (or will) never charge for it. I show people how to use the tools found on Hackint0sh, as I learnt how to use them by using the step-by-step guides found here. Indeed, I highly recommend this very site to anyone who owns, or is thinking about owning an iPhone.

You (Jody) have clearly used other people's work to make profit through illicit means, and you deserve everything you've gotten here - and to be fair, I think you've been let off extremely lightly. It's plainly obvious that you have saved yourself a lot of money because you didn't need a development team of your own to create an unlocking tool (you used a free one from the Dev Team here instead), but unfortunately, you did so without consent... and they're angry (rightly so too), because you've stolen their work.

I also know why you need to spend thousands on advertising - because you have to reach the 1% of iPhone users that don't know how to use the Internet, that want to unlock (the majority of 60+ year-olds are rich enough to pay for AT&T contracts, so they don't even need to unlock).

I make it my business to advertise for Hackint0sh (word of mouth goes a long way in building one's reputation), the Dev Team have my utmost respect for their work.
