A few answers for common questions:

1. This method works with V2 and V3 cards. CONFIRMED!

2. You will need to cut the card however is just the plastic you cutting.

3. A new software was released by Bladox (not tested yet) that allows you to enter the values manually so you won't need an AT&T or cut your AT&T if you don't want to.

4. Some people have reported that by using the method where you copy your iPhone AT&T SIM CCID and IMSI it doesnt require you to deactivate and activate. If deactivation and Activation is required is just a simple step - Software available here: http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/IASign

5. The only tested way requires you to use a second phone to upload the application. For that your phone needs to be connected to you computer via Bluetooth (serial available) or via cable (with serial available). www.gurmelas.dyndns.org gives you an example with Razr.

6. You can buy the Turbo Sim at http://www.bladox.com/shop.php?lang=en -> Turbo SIM - Blank Version

7. Yes, it is expensive and Shipping is ridiculous expensive.

I'm located in Canada on the Rogers network.

I got my Turbo sim today.

I have a Razor v1 and the latest Razor motokrzr k1. Both have usb modem abilty but both get this error when doing this command: turbo-info -d\\.\com6

Has anyone programmed the Turbo Sim using a cell phone? I know ozbimmer got his Turbo Sim working with iPhone but I think he used a real programmer that Bladox sells for like a $120.

Has anyone programmed a Turbo sim with a cell phone and if so what one?

I posted this earlier but with no response.. please help...

Can someone please tell me if an iPhone activated the official AT&T/iTunes way rather than using a hack, can be unlocked using the TSIM method without having to play around with iActivator/iPhuc/Jailbreak etc modifications, or will I have to totally reset the phone and jailbreak/activate it using the unofficial methods in order to use a TSIM+non-AT&T carrier?

I have a properly-activated iPhone with a cancelled AT&T airtime contract, so everything except the call functions ((WiFi, YouTUBE etc) work just fine. Do I have to screw with this to get a TurboSIM to work?

My TSIM arrives tomorrow so I'm anxious to get some advice on how to proceed. Any help would be much appreciated

Ozbimmer,

Can you confirm what you used to program the Turbo Sim? Was it the Bladox programmer or a cell phone?

I think a lot of people are going to be getting there Turbo Sim in the mail soon and wont be able to program it if we can't get a list of cell phones that can talk/program to the Turbo Sim.

Yes, it will work. The important part to get it working is to have a non bricked radio, which you have, since you did a valid activation.

But if you didn't jailbreak/ssh & all your phone you'll have to load AppleSaft on the TurboSIM using another phone of course.

Oh thanks for the reply .. but if I haven't done jailbreak on my phone then although I may get the phone and calls working, presumably I won't be able to change network-specific things like the EDGE and SMS settings (or am I mistaken in assuming that)? In that case am I better off resetting my phone entirely and doing jailbreak/unofficial activation so I can edit all these settings or are they all carried in my local SIM anyway so that I won't have to do this?

oh yes, completely forgot that sorry, you're definitely right - you'll have to jailbreak your phone to change the data settings, unless you're part of the VVVVVIP club of people that saw the network settings menu . The SMS service center is read from the SIM though.
