Won't kick out from recovery, help!
Hello there.
I have a iPhone 2G, which had the FW 2.0 since, like, 2008. I bought it unlocked already, therefore I don't know the unlocking method they used.
I created the thread here because I think it may be redsn0w, since it was very popular at that time, am I right?
I wanted to upgrade it, so I followed a tutorial I found on another forum. I downloaded the ipsw, and tried to apply it on the phone.
On the first run, it crashed and returned the error #13. The phone stood in recovery mode, so I tried to run it again. There was a progress bar at the screen, and when it completed, iTunes stopped again and gave me the error #10, saying the update was not possible.
The phone is still in recovery mode, and rebooting everytime. I couldn't kick it out this mode, and passing the ipsw again just won't resolve.
What am I supposed to do now?
I was using Windows Vista. The iTunes version I can confirm by the afternoon, if needed.
Thanks in advance for the attention.

As I always say, restore log files on pastebin or pastie - otherwise we can't really help you - procedure for this is in this thread http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/130802.htm
most likely causes for error 13 - can't say more until I see the restore log. You shouldn't be getting error 10 (unless the IPSW is corrupt/invalid)
Download IPSW from here: http://www.hackint0sh.org/f127/22056.htm - get 3.1.3 and 3.1.2
Download redsn0w from here redsn0w 0.9.2 [iPhone Dev Team]
Put the iPhone into DFU mode http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/54082.htm
Make sure you have iTunes 8.2 or higher
Shift-click restore and use the 3.1.3 IPSW
Once that completes
Run redsn0w, when prompted, browse for 3.1.2 IPSW
You should not need to unlock again, so untick that option.
The rest is straightforward.
problems, pastebin restore log as described above.
Next time - search - the answers are here.
