What should i do?
Hi!
I have iPhone 3G and when i got it it was jailbroken (pineapple bootlogo) but no cydia and was some 3.XX version.
As new user of iPhone and didnt know of jailbreaking i updated it from iTunes to 4.1 and got 5.14.02 baseband not jailbreaked but works with all sim cards (situation where i am now).
So can i downgrade it for ex. 3.1.2 and get it work with all sim cards or update and jailbreak + unlock or just wait for new versions?
Thx for opinions in advance

Your message is not clear.
Do you mean that with 4.1 and 5.14.02 baseband the phone does work with all SIM cards? If that is true, then you have an officially unlocked phone.
I think however you meant the opposite of what you wrote.
Downgrading iOS version to 3.1.2 does not downgrade baseband. It's generally impossible to downgrade baseband.
Use TinyUmbrella to find out what baseband bootloader version you have. If it says you have 5.8 baseband bootloader, then you have a chance at downgrading baseband.
Otherwise... Dev-Team Blog - Ultra-recycle is your other option to get unlocked again. This solution comes with serious problems. Make sure to read http://www.hackint0sh.org/f204/196391.htm before you attempt this.

Hi!
Yes my iPhone with 4.1 and 5.14.02 bb works with all SIM cards.
TinyUmbrella gives this information:
Installed Firmware Version: 4.1
Installed Baseband Version: 05.14.02-6.4_M3S2
Reason why i asked for possibilities is because i would like my phone work faster and propably want to get better programs
Thx
