Exclamation What can i do now?? need urgent help on this subject

    Hi,

I want to unlock my iPhone 4 but I have iOS 4.3.5, Baseband 04.10.01 and I had tethered jailbreak. I restore it to a clean 4.3.5 state now.
I can't downgrade to a earlier iOS because i don't have the SHSH Blobs saved.
I was thinking in upgrade it to IOS5. The thing is that the iphone was bought locked to a spanish carrier and im trying to use it in Portugal (didnīt know it was locked before the purchase...)
is there a way to start using my phone as an IPHONE instead of an IPOD?
Dont wanna loose the GPS functionality (using an ipad baseband...)
I've tryed a GEVEY SIM but probably there was a problem with that thing because it keeps telling me "No SIM card"...

    I'm desperate.

    Thank you.

You are full of misconceptions. Let me try and address them one at a time.

    1) iPhone 4 cannot use the iPad baseband, so that is not possible at this time for you, so don't worry about that nor losing GPS functionality. That only worked for the 3G/3GS.
    2) As you're aware, baseband 04.10.01 cannot be unlocked with ultrasn0w at present.
    3) iOS 5 not only includes a new baseband (that can't be unlocked), but it also blocks the Gevey SIM from functioning -- do not upgrade to iOS5 as a solution to this problem.

Your only choice is to figure out why the Gevey SIM is not working, but we can't support the Gevey SIM directly (partially because it's not our product, partially because use of the Gevey SIM is illegal in most countries due to its requirement of dialing 112 before activating).

Unfortunately there's no silver bullet for you -- you'll need to figure out why the Gevey SIM is not working for you and you'll likely need to contact them directly for support. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Please stop opening this same thread in other forums here. I answered your questions and putting it in three places makes it impossible for anyone to help you and keep current on the discussion. I've deleted the other two threads. Please post here to continue this discussion.
