    Default Tethered 3GS redsnow

    Hello I have a 3GS Jailbroken tethered with redsnowwith ipad baseband is there a way to get this jailbroken without it being tethered? Thanks for any help

    If you have SHSH saved for 4.2.1, restore to 4.2.1 and use greenpois0n (from greenpois0n.com)

    No need to restore, just run greenpoison rc6.1

    Thank you I did that and now it appears to be untethered ,but now it boots and then shuts down then boots again then it stays on. anybody know why it does this?

    OK I just booted it and you get apple then skull with spinning thingy then its fully booted with slide to unlock screen then a second later it starts all over and then it stays booted.

    That doesn't sound entirely right, maybe you need to restore and jailbreak a clean install after all

    How would I do a clean restore from 4.2.1 with a 6.15.00 baseband I just dont want to screw this iphone up . I think I have to go back to 4.1 first or something like that not entirely sure? Any Help is appreciated.

    restore with saved 4.2.1 SHSH plus Pwnagetool 4.2 custom IPSW
