I used redsnow on my 2g iphone 2.2 to upgrade to 3.0 and everything works fine. I had problems using pwnagetool then i switched to redsnow and i'm happy with it.

Does push work using Redsn0w? or does it have the same bug as PwnageTool on 2G phones?

I read some issues related to push on the iPhone 2G, in Twitter, so I have not upgraded mine yet.

Does push works fine for those of you that already upgraded to 3.0 and used Redsn0w?

    Tested push working good.
Update your iPhone with iTunes 8.2
    download bootloader 3.9 and 4.6
download redsnow execute it after update and follow the instruction

take between 8 and 12 min in total.

No need for bkup, iTunes do it, and the restore comes after redsnow unlock the iPhone and you turn on the iTunes again.

Really easy and the 3.0 is a little faster than the 1.1.4 and have some resolved bugs.

    Recomended
