Default Recovery Loops - iRecovery doesn't work

    This sucks. "/

Tried to jailbreak for the second time and the same thing happened. First attempt was way back when blackra1n was new. I tried again with redsn0w and the same thing... Recovery mode loop.

I used this guide iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3GS Using RedSn0w (Windows) [4.3.1] (as stated on the Dev Team blog). Now it's stuck in the loop. So I tried iRecovery, but I think the libusb isn't working, as the test application shows nothing, and no iPhone/iPod is recognized when I drag/drop irecovery.exe into command prompt and run -s.

    Bleh. Any ideas?

How did you end up with 4.3.1? Did you update or restore? How was the restore? (normal, recovery, DFU, original or custom IPSW)
Does the recovery loop only happen when you try to jailbreak? Does it boot normally after a restore?

This is my first time jailbreaking with this iPhone. I'd updated to 4.3.1 thru iTunes straight from Apple. I followed the instructions at iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3GS Using RedSn0w (Windows) [4.3.1] so I shift-clicked restore and used their custom IPSW. It did not work. The loading bar for step 12 (uploading ramdisk) did not finish and the phone rebooted to Recovery mode. I've tried it multiple times.

So what I've done now is I restored/updated to 4.3.2 and am going to take it into Apple, as it's still doing it.

P.S. I cannot restore to a factory backup because, for some reason, there are none... o.O
