    Default Problems installing jailbreak hack

    After the last stage when my phone is being jailbroken my phones screen turns white for 4 sec and then turns black. Then redsn0w program says the installation is complete, but nothing has been installed on my iphone and isnt jailbroken. Please help Thanks I have the latest itunes 8.2.1 and using iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw with redsn0w 0.8. I am also using windows vista

    Are you on a 2G or a 3G.
    the "iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw" is for the 3G phone.
    You should be using iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw
    this may be your problem.

    I just thought this might be the issue since you are posting in the 2G forum.

    If not I apologize.
