Error 9 can be USB related, or it can be due to incorrect kernel patches (from the custom IPSW - which could be sn0wbreez's fault)

Please help me I have some ideas:

Try different USB port OR
Can I use latest version of sn0wbreeze (2.7), but it isn't indicating it supports 4.2.1? OR
Can I use Vmware to install Mac on my Windows 7 64 bit, then thru virtual Mac use pwnage tool, and if I get error then post you the Mac itunes logs?


Which is better or applicable idea?

Definitely try a different USB port, USB cable or a different computer.
You can run OS X in VirtualBOx, VMWare or other virtualization programs to make a custom IPSW in pwnagetool. However you can't restore the IPSW via virtualized OS X (you must restore the custom IPSW on a real computer)
