3G and Redsn0w 0.9.3

I have a 3G 8GB carrier is Fido. When I restore the iPhone to 3.1.3 firmware my iPhone works perfect with my sim card. Once I jailbreak the iPhone with redsn0w 0.9.3 everything goes as normal but then iPhone does not read my sim card. If you go back to original factory 3.1.3 firmware my iPhone reads sim card.
is there a solution to this. Please help. :(

Redsn0w 0.9.3 is not the latest stable release. This is redsn0w 0.9.2

Redsn0w 0.9.3 includes experimental support for a tethering patch.

If you can legitimately activate with fido, the correct order should be to restore, activate then jailbreak with redsn0w (0.9.2)
