no longer jailbreaked
I was one of the lucky ones that did the unlock on time with SAM. Although due to a stupid mistake of mine i officially restored my phone through itunes and now my jailbreak is gone. so no cydia anymore
. Due to SAM exploit my iphone was still unlocked though. But I would like the cydia back to backup my SAM unlock and get the personal hotspot going.
If i run the jailbreakproces again via redsnow.app will my phone remain unlocked or do I have to do the sam process to register with apple servers? Knowing it no longer works I would have to leave my phone unjailbreaked?
I have a iphone 4 on ios5.1.

redsn0w should detect that the phone is already activated and should not hacktivate. Unfortunately, there's no way to back up the activation token without jailbreaking, so you will need to JB to get that backed up. redsn0w is usually pretty intelligent about this -- it doesn't hacktivate AT&T phones that are already activated if it detects them, etc., so it should leave your activation intact. Make sure that if there is a hacktivate checkbox (there probably isn't, they usually only have a deactivate checkbox, which you don't want to check) that you leave it unchecked.
