Hi guys, upgraded my phone in iTunes 10.6.1 last night from 4.2.6 to 5.1 and used redsn0w 0.9.10b8 to tether jailbreak. Everything went pretty smoothly and phone is all functioning except for app sorting in itunes.

When I move apps around to different pages and group them and sync it doesn't update on my phone. Anyone have this issue?

This can happen from time to time when sync services gets messed up. You should be able to fix it by telling iTunes to stop syncing Apps with your phone (it shouldn't remove the apps when you do this). Then, after a full sync, tell it to sync apps. Then complete a full sync again. This should get everything working again.

Make sure to do a full backup first, just in case it decides to remove your apps -- you'll want the app data backed up!

Gave it a shot but it's a no go. It seems the problem is iTunes is not recognizing folders. Although I use folders on my phone, there are no folders in the app section of iTunes. When I move an icon around and sync, nothing happens on the phone.

I think I'll just have to learn to live with it if there are no other solutions.
