    Default iTunes 8.2 (not 8.2.1) OK for hactivating an iPhone 3G?

    I know that one has to use iTunes 8.2 to hactivate/jailbreak a 3GS. But it is necessary for a 3G? In other words, is it OK to use 8.2.1 with a 3G?
