"upgraded"?? do you mean you used the "check for update" (also known as just "update" option in iTunes instead of the "restore" option?
Did you load the iPad baseband??
What iOS version were you running before?

Crash report isn't something that is useful to me, more useful to Apple.
What you did was very stupid, you could have easily done a more careful update and avoided the 6.15 baseband update.. Oh well.
So you "restored to 4.2.1" then did you "restore from iTunes backup"?

I am facing exact same situation. Is that due to baseband upgrade to iPad? What's the solution now?
-
I am also facing the same issue after upgrading my 3G iPhone to iOS to 4.2.1, baseband 6.15.00 and unlocked it with redsn0w 9.6.
My iPhone is running very slow and gets hang frequently. Sometime it is hanging in middle of call also and restarting automatically.
Springboard keeps crashing and restarting. More on these, I had also checked Multitasking feature while unlocking the iPhone. So it is slow due to this feature ??
I have googled a lot but found we can downgrade 6.15.00 baseband to 5.13.0 on iPhone 3G only if we have bootloader version 5.8. Unfortunately I don't have 5.8 bootloader
Please help me. What could be the solution ?
