    Default iphone in reboot loop

hello can someone help me please? i have an iphone 2g which the screen was cracked so i changed the screen digitizer and lcd. the phone then was able to start up but had a faulty digitizer.
i unlocked my phone with ziphone previously. i restored the phone using itunes and now the phone boots up and switches off. it will not stay on and goes into a reboot loop. I have tried installing the redsnow program to the iphone and used a firmware restore from itunes (3.1.2), and although it seems to have installed correctly- the phone still continues to reboot on startup. Does anyone know what i have done wrong or have any suggestions please?

don't use ziphone - it's very old and outdated
(some times it may even brick your phone)

    - restore 3.1.2
    - use redsn0w

Syslog or the console log from the iPhone configuration utility might help diagnose why it reboots on startup

    Sounds like hardware problem.
