trying to JB my iphone 4 CDMA (verizon U.S.) runnint 5.0.1.

i launched redsn0w and got in to DFU, it flashed across a few preload files and rebooted the phone. redsn0w just hangs at waiting for reboot. but, the phone is rebooted. it's not in limbo or DFU...phone just boots back to ios.

only thing i can think is maybe i need to restore to a fresh 5.0.1? i downloaded "iPhone3,3_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw" which is the CDMA version as best as i can tell.

but, the instructions i'm following dont' say to necessarily restore to 5.0.1...if you are already running 5.0.1 successfully, it indicates i should just run redsn0w.

any suggestions?

nm...had to go in to extras and hand-pick the IPSW. no problemo after that.
