iphone 3gs error 1015
iphone 3gs, 6.15.00 baseband, unknown ofw/cfw, windows 7 OS
So, i recently bought an iphone from my girlfriends friend, it was jailbroken, and i wanted a unjailbroken firmware so i tried restoring from itunes, this is the log from the event 2011-12-14 17:05:44.322 [6412:191c]: amai: tss_submit_job: HttpQueryInfo returne - Pastebin.com, and i received error 1015 which after i researched i am thinking is something called a recovery loop? I've put it in dfu mode, and i tried restoring to 4.0, 4.1, 4.2.1 ofw using the shift click method but i get an error saying that all these ofw/cfw are incompatiable? has anyone else encountered this, or has any advice as to where i should go from here?
You upgraded to the 06.15.00 baseband and apparently did not read the instructions that came with it . You are attempting to restore an .IPSW with a baseband update included to your phone with 06.15.00. This will not work. You must create a custom .IPSW without the baseband with either redsn0w or sn0wbreeze. This requirement was clearly documented in the dev-team's posts and instructions about the 06.15.00 baseband, as well as nearly every forum post relating to it on our boards -- if you didn't read it, you probably should go do that now, it'll be important for you to know what the caveats of that baseband are -- there are several.
The preceding forum post has been brought to you by the letter "N" and the number 42.
