I have iPhone 2G (Original iPhone) and when tried to restore firmware 3.0 with iTunes 8.1 it gives me Error Code (10)..........

I will download latest iTunes V.8.2 and try again may be this is the problem.

UPDATE Succeeded : i downloaded iTunes 8.2 and restored to firmware 3.0 successfully. then made Jailbrake and unlocking with redsn0w and everything worked like a magic..........my carrier is Vodafone.......

The instructions to redsnow clearly state that you have to have iTunes 8.2. The earlier versions may have trouble dealing with 3.0.

is that iTunes 8.2 or later? I'm using iTunes 9 with mine
