Re: Bootrom
99% chance you have new bootrom.
100% chance if this is a new phone rather than a replacement phone (repair/warranty)

Hi bro,
i'm stuck here. After i press and hold the shift key on my laptop and click on restore at itune. I navigate to my Pwnage folder. but the firmware ipsw is not there. Cant figure out what happen.
from iclarified
Step Two
Connect your iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes.
Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down shift and click the Restore button. Restore is preferred as it won't create any wasted space on your iPhone.
Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop and select the firmware ipsw. Click the Open button to continue.

Now i change the zip file to .ipsw.
manage to open but when click on restore.
It says iphone is not able to restore the because the firmware file is not compatible.
Can some kind soul HELP!
Thanks
