Ok i cant say this is going to work for a fact but it worked for me and 2 of my friends, all on 2g iphones that used redsn0w/pwnage tool. First download an app with push notifications then go into settings and turn them off. Then use your phone till the battery completely drains and fully charge it. And now hopefully enjoy your phone with regular battery life. hope this works for you

once you install and launch the program, the toggle will appear in settings.

i had issues my battery it was dying rapidly fast i tried everything but nothing worked and i let it died out turned off push and its workin fine now.
i say to turn off push because its not working for hacktivated phones so why waste battery with it

This worked for me too! When I had just upgraded to 3.0, my battery wouldn't last 12 hours. After disabling Push Notifications, it's been two days since I charged my iPhone!
