im having that same problem with a 2g i accdently hit restore on my iPhone 2g
stuck at activation and been trying to figure out how to jail break it

You do not have the same problem. The problem that you originally added your reply to was a situation you can only have with the 3GS.
It is hard to provide much advice or help when you post in the wrong place and provide no clear details on what your actual problem is. I'll take an educated guess. You upgraded or restored to OS 3.1.3 on your 2G iPhone.
Follow the procedure here iClarified - iPhone - How to Unlock/Jailbreak Your iPhone 2G on OS 3.1.2 Using RedSn0w (Windows) (even though it mentions 3.1.2, it *will* work)
If you are insecure and want confirmation from another source, then look at Dev-Team Blog - 3.1.3 and thee under #Update 1
If my guess is wrong... then post more details.
